"I started my career working as a software developer for a Bristol based consultancy firm and Internet Service Provider. Working as one of a small team I was involved in many projects including leading the development of the back-end systems for the first online mortgage application website for Bradford & Bingley, as well as developing the hosting platform used to launch South West Telecom as an independent ISP. 

I later took a new role with the South West’s leading Panasonic PBX supplier in order to help develop the adoption of new emerging Voice over IP technologies and was involved in the successful deployment of the UK’s first Panasonic VoIP system, linking a software development house of approximately 80 users in Bristol with their counterparts in the New Delhi office.

Following this I began working for an IT consultancy providing IT installation and support (Windows Server, Exchange, Networking, Internet Security, etc.) to SME’s.

Latterly, I joined an independent Telecoms consultancy in 2008 to assist in the development of both the VoIP and Large Campus Network offerings. I was the technical lead on many projects, including two major network installations for premium holiday park developments, encompassing the installation of a 1.8km underground fibre optic network over which Telephones, Internet, and Television On Demand services were provided to luxury holiday homes.

I launched Kefcom Ltd in 2023, along with my wife Victoria. Our aim is to use my industry knowledge and experience to  help Small and Medium sized enterprises throughout the Southwest and beyond, to implement cost effective communications technology that will help to revolutionise the way they work.

In my spare time I enjoy nothing more than long walks in the countryside with my wife and I also volunteer for several community groups. 

I can often be found daydreaming about sitting in my favourite Taverna enjoying a simple Greek salad and sipping a cold Mythos beer!"
